Lions Club 2008 Annual Banquet
This year's annual
banquet was held at Double Tree Claremont with 4-L2 PDG, DG,
VIPs, elected officials, fellow Lion members, Lions from other Lion
Clubs and many guests in the gorgeous banquet room decorated by our
member Lions. Proclamations were presented. The RHLC club song "Our
Song" was performed. The live band "Climax" played hours of
intriguing dance songs for all guests to enjoy. The night was
sparkling and RHLC heads into our 4th year led by our 2008-2009 President Marie

Highlights of the
Rowland Heights Lions Club 2006 Annual Banquet on June 2006 at
Hilton Los Angeles/San Gabriel Hotel. During the annual banquet, we
sponsor again another guide dog by donating $2,500 to Guide Dogs of
the Desert International (GDDI). Because 2006 is the year of Dog by
Chinese lunar custom, we named our new guide dog "Won Won" (©ô©ô),
which is the sound of a dog barking and also, in Chinese, means
"Prosperous".
Rowland Heights Lions
Club held a press conference showcasing a guide dog from Guide Dogs of
the Desert International (GDDI) on May 2006. During the press
conference, we announced our 2006 Annual Banquet time and place, and
that we would sponsor again another guide dog by donating $2,500 to
GDDI.
4L-2 2004-2005 District Governor Mr. Bill

Charter and 2005-2006 President Ms. Aileen Chan in our charter night
at Pacific Palms Conference Resort, Industry Hills,
